I know I don't post enough but I have three adorable but time consuming little girls :-) Here are some updated pictures of them.

They are growing up so fast! Brooklyn is 6 months old, Chloe is 2 and a half, and Alyssa just turned 8! Can you believe it? They are learning new things everyday and it's amazing to watch them grow and change right before my eyes.

Anibal and I just celebrated our 6 year anniversary last weekend! It's so amazing to have my best friend as my Husband. We have a lot of fun together and always will.

Brooklyn Rose was born at 5:52Pm on November 4th. she was 7lbs 10 ounces and 20 and a half inches long. The labor and delivery went very well and my awesome Dr was able to get Brookyln's cord from around her neck right away, so there were no problems due to that. She had jaundice pretty bad so we had to stay two nights at the hopsital but other than that she is doing great! Besides all of us being sick with colds things have gone really well. Anibal is awesome as always and helps me so much. Alyssa is also a big helper. Chloe...loves her new baby Sister but doesn't quite understand she has to be gentle. We're working on it though and I'm sure she'll understand soon. I am back to work and it has been very hard. I miss her so much and feel so awful that I had to leave her so soon. She is already 10.5 lbs! She's a good eater lol. She is starting to be awake for longer periods and that is really fun. She is such a calm baby! She hardly ever cries and is the only one out of all my girls that loves bath time! She just lays there and kicks her cute legs. Life is grand!

Thursday's the big day!

So things have been really really crazy the last few weeks. Anibal is getting over a sinus infection, I'm getting over bronchitis and ear infections and poor Chloe is getting over this nasty virus that caused all these blisters in her throat and left her with a terrible cough! Alyssa somehow hasn't gotten sick yet (knock on wood). I think Chloe is starting to realize things are going to change. She has become a Mommy's girl which has been really hard! I love it, don't get me wrong but she wants to be held constantly and with my big old belly it's very hard! She also won't let Anibal do the things he used to do...mommy has to do them now. I'm really worried about how she'll react to a new little sister.

At my appointment last Thursday my Dr found during the non-stress test and the ultrasound that baby has managed to get her cord wrapped around her neck. My Dr told me to make sure she stays as active as she's always been, and luckily she has been. I am terrifed of something going wrong and her not being able to be born naturally. I know if I have to get a c-section it will be the best option for her health but it's a scary thing to think about. We just need lots of prayers that the birth isn't too much stress for her. I will be going in Thursday morning at 6:45 to get induced. I will update soon after! Love you all.

I really need to start posting more often! Time is flying by. Life has been really really hectic lately. I started a new job in March working for the cell phone manufacturer LG and I really love it. I work with some awesome people and get to help people out which is always nice. Anibal started a different job that is opposite my schedule. I work 7-4 he works 2:30pm-1AM. It makes things really hard because we don't see each other fully awake until Friday. Plus, I'm getting pretty big now that I only have 2 months of my pregnancy left. that makes it hard to come home and take care of both the girls by myself...especially with Chloe wanting me to pick her up all the time. But I am excited for baby to get here and for us to get into a schedule. I only get 3 weeks off work which will also be hard but you gotta do what you gotta do right?

Chloe and Alyssa are doing great! They are growing up so fast! Alyssa just started the 2nd grade on Wednesday and she has a great teacher this year and as long as she can start focusing her attention on the right things I think she will do great. Everyone says she looks just like a mini-me lol, I love it. Chloe is definitely not a baby anymore. Her vocabulary is crazy! She started doing this thing where everytime she pees she takes her diaper off and brings it to me and says, "Change my bum", it was really funny at first but now I think it's time to buy her a potty and be done with diapers! She also finally says "I love you" all the time and asks for hugs. I love it. She has also learned, Mine, No, and Why....those are my not so favorite words. lol

Anibal and I are great. He has been working on getting his band set up. This is a dream he has always had and he found some old friends from high school that all have the same ambitions. So my basement is now their "Studio" which is okay for the most part and they actually sounds really good! He is still my best friend and he makes me smile so much...I really don't know what I would do without him sometimes. He is a great Father and Husband and I am very grateful for him and all that he does.

For those that don't know about my pregnancy, we unexpectedly found out we were pregnant in March this year. We were definitely not trying and were taking precautions but baby decided to come anyway lol. We are having another girl :-) and she is due November 12th (the day before Chloe's Birthday). I'm hoping she'll come a little early so the girls can have their own Birthday's. I am 29 weeks and she is measuring a week a head which is awesome. So far I haven't really had any problems except really bad headaches and back pain. I have been really tired and am pretty scared about going from 2 kids to 3 but I know we will manage. Well there's my update! I can't think of anything else for now :-)

Christmas was wonderful this year! Chloe had a wonderful time playing with the tree, lights, and presents. Alyssa helped me make treats and decorate the house. She even had her very own miniature Christmas tree in her room this year. I love visiting family and talking for hours nd remembering how lucky I am to have a home, power and gas to warm it, food on the table, and a family to eat with. I am so grateful to have a wonderful loving family to share the
Holidays with. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year as well!

The girls are growing up so quickly. Alyssa is learning sign language and Spanish at school. She car read almost anything and is in a special reading group because she's doing so well. Chole is getting into everything lately! She is figuring things out at lightning speed. She has figured out how to open the cd rom drive and yesterday when I told her, "No, no Chloe", she said "No No!" back to me. haha gotta love it. Anibal and I are both doing well. I am still job hunting which is never fun but hopefully something will come along soon. I am going to try and start posting on here more often.

Well Chloe is a little over two months old and she is quite the handful. Juggling taking care of her and quality time with Alyssa is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Alyssa wasn't jealous at first but now that she sees how much time Chloe takes from her she has her moments. I am trying to get more time in with Alyssa but it's hard because I think Chloe may be getting colic, she has crying spells every night for a few hours. We'll see. Chloe is happy though and loves Alyssa so much. All lyssie has to do is walk up and talk to Chloe and she makes her smile. It is so cute to see. I love my girls with all my heart and hope I can raise them both to be happy independent well rounded women. I am just waiting for Chloe to start laughing one day! She smiles all the time now and I have a few toys that she just loves! She also "coos" all the time too! She is so cute. Alyssa is doing well in school except she talks too much! haha I remember getting in trouble for that too. She is a great helper and loves to sweep for some reason!

Anibal and I are doing well. We have our daily challenges (especially when I'm exhausted and didn't get much sleep the night before), but he is still my best friend and I love him tons. He is back to doing construction and is building some duplexes at Hill Air Force Base. It's hard because he comes home late, cold, hungry and exhausted. I can't wait till it gets warmer.

My Mom has been able to come and stay with me three times over the last two months. She came down to visit me and my Grandpa and has decided my house is much more relaxing than my Grandpa's. While she has been here both her younger Brother and younger Sister have passed away so she has had to stay longer than expected. It has been great though and I never thought when I was younger that I would be such great friends with my Mom. I love her and wish she would move closer. The deaths of my Aunt and Uncle made the Holidays very dificult but we are doing better now.

I go back to work on February 9th and while I'm sad to leave Chloe and miss out on so much time with her, it will be so nice to have normal adult conversations again and let someone else take some of the load for me! Brooke's cousin Brit is going to watch Chloe for me. I am so glad I found someone I trust to care for her! It really makes things a lot easier. Now comes the hard part....getting Chloe on a reasonable schedule and weaning her to the bottle all in the next three weeks. Wish me luck! I love you all and miss you! So here's my labor and delivery story...in case anyone was wondering how it went. On Thursday the 13th at 6AM Anibal and I checked into the hospital. They started me on the pitocin and IV fluids right away and found out I was having contractions before the pitocin kicked in...they just weren't effective. Anibal and I took movies so we started watching a movie and then my contractions started. My doctor came in and checked me at 8AM, (I was only 2 centimeters dilated). So, she broke my water and saw that Chloe had a bowel movement inside me so that kind of worried me. After that I started getting a lot more contractions so they gave me this IV pain medication called Nubain which made me feel fantastic...and then called the guy to come do my epidural. They came in and I got in the position they make you get in when they do the epidural and they started putting the needle in. Then I started to get a contraction and you're not supposed to move at all while they're doing that so I think I started to hold my breath.....and I passed out. I woke up to everyone saying, "Andrea! Andrea! Are you still with us???" I guess I was out for about 20 seconds So I was slowly coming back to consciousness and they told me my blood pressure had dropped to 60 over 20 and they had to give me adrenaline to get my blood pumping more. So I had to deal with that great feeling of my heart racing and then they had to redo my epidural because they weren't done when I passed out. UGH! Chloe was fine throughout all of this though. Anibal was pretty freaked out though. So they finished my epidural and hung around to make sure I was okay.
At 3 my Doctor came and checked me again and I was only dilated to a 4 and a half!!! So we waited some more and then my epidural wore off! My legs, back, and stomach were still numb but the area between my thighs and lower back were not! I felt the most terrible pain I've ever felt in my life! They tried to give me more meds in my epidural catherter but nothing helped! They had no idea why it wasn't working for me this time (I think it was because they had an intern do it). My doctor came in and checked me again at 5 and I was a 9! I was crying so much because I hurt so bad and they couldn't do anything. They gave it one last try with some other medicine and it started to kick in right as my doctor told me it was time to start pushing (Around 5:35PM). I had 3 sets of pushing and she was born at 5:44PM. It was the most amazing experience because I wasn't scared this time like I was with Alyssa. Anibal was great through the whole thing! He didn't get grossed out at all and cut the cord, put on the first diaper and helped with the first bath. He is happier than I've ever seen him! They were able to suction all the meconium out of her lungs so there were no problems from that. She weighs 8 lbs 3 ounces and is 21 1/2 inches long! She has tons of hair and is amazing! She didn't hardly cry at all when she was born...she just sort of whined..it was cute. I am so happy she is here and everything went well. We got to go home the next day so that was nice. I'm so grateful to everyone who came and visited us and helped us out by bringing food and meals to us...that really helped me out. I have to say thanks most of all to my best friend in the whole world Anibal...he has always been there for me and was amazing during the birth and has been extraordinary this first week at home! I have two precious daughters, a wonderful man in my life, and tons of great friends and family....what more could I ask for? YAY! Life is beautiful!

One week to go!

So in a week I will be in the hospital hopefully progressing well! I am getting so scared and nervous about getting induced. I know that we'll be in the hospital so if anything happens they will be right there to help but I haven't heard too many good things about getting induced. I guess you only hear the bad stories though huh? I'm just starting to freak out. I want to go into labor on my own but with Alyssa that didn't happen till she was a day over due.

I guess I'll just have to hope and pray that everything goes well and hopefully it will. I've been trying to stay active hoping that will help. With Alyssa around and Anibal working I sure feel busy. I've slept better the last two nights than I have in months so that's nice! I only woke up one time each night! So that was amazing because I have been pretty tired! I've been cleaning a lot and getting everything ready! I can't wait for her to get here. I decided that even though I am terrified of the labor and delivery this time I am so glad I know how to take care of baby and don't have to worry about that part! It's definitely reassuring to have Alyssa around and in one piece, knowing that I did that pretty much on my own for the first two years! haha Anyway, please keep us in your prayers because I sure need them! I love you all and miss you! I will try to post a recent picture later!

Halloween

Halloween was pretty fun! We went trick or treating with some friends. Alyssa had a great time she couldn't wait to get to the next house! I kept having to tell her to slow down! I was very swollen and uncomfortable but I made it! Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!

I had an appt with my Dr today. Chloe is around 6 pounds 8 ounces now! We are inducing me on the 13th of November at Midnight and I cannot wait! I am only one centimeter dilated but 75% effaced. She hooked me up to two belly bands to do a non stress test. Chloe was moving a lot and has a normal heart rate. We also found out that I am having contractions but they aren't progressive...just uncomfortable. I knew I was but thought they were just braxton hicks. I decided my last day of work will be the 7th so that I can get stuff done and rest as much as possible before I go in. And I just can't stand sitting at work all day long anymore. I am starting to get very nervous and excited....I'm praying everything goes well. I love you all tons and want to thank you for your love and support. It has really helped me get through this! Hugs!

So, my pregnancy is slowly passing! I have pregnancy induced carpal tunnel syndrome which makes my hands and fingers numb and achey all the time. I also have terrible pain in my sciatica that has not been helped by seeing a chiropractor! YAY for me! Through all this I'm working full time. Although this pregnancy is much more dificult than my last one I have to say I am a lot less nervous this time around! I had a Dr's appt on Thrusday and she said everything looks like it's going great! Chloe weighs in around 4 pounds now and is moving a ton! My Dr talked to me about getting induced which I am more than likely going to do this time around. We are delivering at Davis so it would be a drive when I do go into labor and I kind of want to be ready for it so I can drop Alyssa off and get to the hospital on time. Plus I am just plain miserable and defintiely won't mind having Chloe a week early! Anibal and Alyssa can't wait for her to be here! Alyssa doesn't understand how little Chloe will be and keeps asking me if they will be able to play outside together! haha she's going to be such a wonderful big sister! Anibal is thrilled and nervous at the same time. He will be a wonderful Dad though...he already is with Alyssa! Anyway, please wish me luck during my last 7 weeks!!!

Alyssa started Kindergarten!!! I have to admit I was much more nervous than she was but we got up and got her ready and left for school. She is going to Bonneville Elementary which is just up the street from our house and is one of the few schools that offer full day Kindergarten classes! They lined up outside on their class number and when the bell rang they started to walk inside....Alyssa walked out of the line and hurried to me. She told me she wanted me, which almost made me cry! But I told her she would do great and that I'm sure she would have fun. She got back in line and headed on to a brave new world! I admit after she went inside I cried quite a bit....but I wasn't the only one!

I can't believe she has already started school! It seems like just yesterday she was a little baby who loved to be held and always wanted her Mom. I'm proud of her though and she told me when she got home that she likes school a lot better than daycare and that she made a lot of new friends. My how time flies, it reminds me that we need to enjoy them as much as possible before they move away and really grow up!

I love being a Mother!

On Thursday, July 31st I was getting back to work from lunch and got a phone call from Alyssa's daycare. The woman told me Alyssa had an accident and they think she broke her left arm. They had called the paramedics to come make sure she was okay and not going into shock or anything. I hurried there and saw her sitting there with the paramedics around her. She was crying of course and they had put a splint on it. She kept asking me to go home and I felt so bad for her because I knew it would be hours before we got to go home. Anyway, the paramedics told me it was for sure broken and she needed to go to the emergency room. I called Anibal and he came and picked us up. On the way to the hospital I was so upset that I lost my lunch, but it helped Alyssa stop crying for a minute! We got to the ER and it was packed! Luckily, the paramedics had called ahead and had them get a room ready for us. They took us to the room and started Alyssa's IV. I had to lie on the floor for that part because I really don't do well in stressful situations. After they got that done they gave her some morphine and turned on the cartoons for her. We waited for a bit and they did the xray. They found she had broken both bones right between her elbow and her wrist. She started to do a little better but was still in a lot of pain. The specialist finally got there and told me they would have to set it back into place and they would give her a little bit of anestesia to help her not remember it and to make her very drowsy. So they gave her the medicine and waited for a minute to make sure she was out of it. I waited outside and Anibal stayed with her. I could tell when they did it though because she started crying even though she was out of it. Then I started crying because I felt so terrible that I couldn't do anything. After that they put a splint on it and had us wait a little while to make sure she was okay and we finally got to come home! We came home and she ate a little bit and then fell asleep and slept all night. Friday and the weekend were really tough but by Monday she was doing much better. She got a bright pink cast on the 6th and will go back in on the 20th to get that one taken off and a new one put on. She's doing really well with it but I can't wait for her to have her arm back to normal. She starts Kindergarten next week!!! It's crazy how quickly they grow up...and how wonderful it is to watch.
